Rise UP and Wise UP

RELATIONSHIPS

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of the world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.” – Romans 12:2

In the world we live in, the way we consider relationships is ever changing and ever present. We are surrounded by a multitude of relationships between our families, friends, acquaintances and colleagues, and everyone we meet in between. Learning how to navigate these relationships and model Christ’s love for everyone can be difficult (especially if you’re a momma bear). But listen, ladies, when we allow the love of Christ to permeate the very depths of our bones and marrow, our inner most beings, the core of Whose image we emulate, God transforms us into a new person – sometimes a person we don’t even recognize – and gosh, doesn’t she look good?! But when we believe the lies of comparison and destruction and defeat, that same gal staring right back at you suddenly doesn’t look so good. Honey girl, listen, wash your face. Remember Who you belong to. Remember Who you emulate. And remember to copy His ways and His love – that kind of love transforms everything.

XOXO, Loni

About Me

I have been on a journey with Christ through everything from relationships, to marriage and parenting, to teaching, writing, and speaking. I believe God is a God of detail and impeccable timing. I love developing beautiful relationships, watching God build His Kingdom, Jesus, and have a passion to see the church rise up and wise up in the love and service as the bride of Christ.
